Read my Welcome!

Welcome! I am now a crone and loving it! At least, I guess I’m a crone. I’m certainly old enough, I realize that I have accumulated some wisdom, and I really want to play! I’m not sure that playing is part of “crone hood,” but if it isn’t, it should be.

A big part of my ‘playing’ is creating stories. This page is where you can take a peek into how I do that, who and what inhabits my writing world, and any stray thoughts or dreams that catch my fancy.  If you want to see some of my stories, they live on the “Short Stories” page. (You can tell I’m a writer because of how cleverly I named that page!) If you want an actual book, you can find my book here {link}

I would love to hear from you. Just leave a comment or send me a note through this website. I respond to all comments.

By the way, some of the characters in my book (two or three trees, to be exact) decided that they wanted to start an advice column. If you have any questions that you would like Sreela (a playful oak tree), Rothar the Survivor (a wise old tree who has weathered many, many storms), or Tsuga (a persistent old hemlock) to answer, just ask them in the comments section at the end of this post.

I look forward to developing a long relationship with each of you.
